Exhortation - Saturday, 06 August 2011
Grace is God’s way of exchange, His acts of kindness toward us.

God wants His grace to abound to our account. In Philippians 4 Paul writes that while he was greatly appreciative of their giving; he was more interested in them having an abundance of fruit. He told them that he did not seek their gift but that fruit would abound to their account. He went on to say that God would supply all their need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Our tithe and offerings are not to help God; they are to get us operating in heaven’s economy. Grace is God’s way of exchange, His acts of kindness toward us.

If you go to a job for the purpose of receiving a paycheck, then you work all week and go to the window to pick up your check, the check you were promised in exchange for the services you rendered. In essence, you sowed yourself so that you might reap a paycheck. The kingdom of heaven operates the same way, only Jesus finished the work and we receive the paycheck. He gives us His grace, His ability, His unmerited favor in order that we may operate under heaven’s economy. In heaven’s economy there is no lack. God has provided a sure way for us to operate in His abundance in this earth, but in order for us to operate in it; we must first receive the revelation of it.

If I hold back what I have because I am afraid of not having enough, then I am fully dependant on me to supply all my needs. In other words, I am operating on earth’s economy and am fully dependant on what it has to offer which is an abundant supply of lack, but if I make the choice to operate in God’s grace which is heaven’s economy then He has promised that I will have no lack.

Jesus operated fully according to the kingdom of heaven in that He did and said nothing that His Father did not tell Him to say or do. He was fully trusting because He knew the love that His Father had for Him. He had full access to all the grace His Father had to offer and He operated in it fully. He has given us this same grace without measure. We must learn to fully trust and understand that He will keep His Word. God is not a law breaker. He has promised that if we trust fully in Him and operate according to His Word that He will supply abundantly all the grace we will need to operate fully in heaven’s economy here on this earth.

We start by trusting. He said the just shall live by faith. Take Him at His Word and trust that the law of sow and reaping will work. Trust that grace will work. By sowing into His kingdom we tap into His grace for receiving so that He may supply all our need according to and based on the riches of His glory by Christ Jesus. He has the supply; we tap in by sowing in faith. After all, who gave us the seed to sow?

Don’t fail to grasp the revelation of sowing and reaping. As we sow into His kingdom we have access to heaven’s economy to supply every need we could possibly face here on this earth. Get a revelation of His grace, Jesus gave His life in order for you to receive it. He has plans to give you a future and a hope, trust Him, when He bore our sins in His body on that tree, He meant it. Receive His grace today.

Philippians 4:14-20

Nevertheless you have done well that you shared in my distress. 15 Now you Philippians know also that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church shared with me concerning giving and receiving but you only. 16 For even in Thessalonica you sent aid once and again for my necessities. 17 Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account. 18 Indeed I have all and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things sent from you, a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God. 19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 20 Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.

1Peter 2:24

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
